Emirates SkyCargo boosted revenue 27.6 percent to a record $2.4 billion in the 12 months through the end of March as it benefitted from a worldwide rebound in air freight volume.
Cargo traffic jumped 11.8 percent to 1.77 million metric tons from 1.58 million tons in the previous 12 months. Cargo yield increased by 11.3 percent in a sign of strong pricing out of Emirates' core Middle East markets.
The load factor improved by 2.1 percentage points to 68.9 percent, while cargo revenue contributed 17.4 percent to parent Emirates Airline’s total transport revenue.

EmiratesSkyCargo added four freighter destinations during the fiscal year – Almaty, Kazakhstan; Bagram, Afghanistan; Campinas, Brazil and Erbil in Iraq.
The carrier operated seven freighters — three on wet lease and four on operating lease — by year’s end.
