IAG Begins Process to Cut 3,807 Iberia Jobs

London-based International Airlines Group, the merged British Airways-Iberia Airlines carrier, today initiated the process to eliminate 3,807 jobs at Iberia, in an effort to restructure the unprofitable Spanish carrier. A 30-day consultation process now starts.

Unions representing workers at Iberia have scheduled a series of strikes in February and March.
