SkyCargo, CSafe ink deal.Emirates SkyCargo has contracted CSafe, a cool chain solutions provider, for the supply and service of mobile refrigeration units used for its Cool Chain Premium Service, which specializes in the transport of temperature-sensitive products, particularly pharmaceuticals.
The contract will provide units for the Emirates division’s Dublin to Australia route, which operates through Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Upon completion of a successful test period, SkyCargo will analyze additional lanes for opportunities to further expand the agreement.
In the 2011 to 2012 financial year, SkyCargo carried more than 3,700 metric tons of temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical and health care products through its Cool Chain Premium Service.
