Cathay Pacific Plans Service Around India Pharmaceuticals

A new Cathay Pacific service between Hong Kong and India will target the growing movement of pharmaceutical cargoes.

A four-times-a-week Airbus A330-300 service to Hyderabad will commence in December offering bellyhold capacity with global connections for Indian shippers via Cathay’s Hong Kong hub.

"Hyderabad is one of the major hubs for the manufacturing of pharmaceuticals in India, and there is great demand of our Pharma LIFT product,” a spokesperson said.

The new service to India’s fourth-most-populous city complements the airline’s existing bellyhold capacity services to Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai.
