Air China Cargo Launches China-Europe Flight

Air China Cargo has launched a new flight linking China to Europe.

The five-times-weekly B747-400F service from Shanghai calls westbound at either Chengdu or Chongqing before continuing to Amsterdam. Return flights stop at Tianjin before returning to Shanghai.

“The airline has slots for up to ten flights per week from Amsterdam,” said a statement from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. “Some of the new services into Schiphol replace flights to Frankfurt.”

Huang Bin, Air China Cargo’s Executive Vice Present and CFO, said the airline’s third freighter service to Europe demonstrated its “great confidence in the prospects for the air cargo market between China and the Netherlands.”
