DALLAS, TEXAS: Sept. 14, 2010 Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (ACS), A Xerox Company (NYSE: XRX), announced today it will expand its capabilities to provide safety and compliance data for drivers and fleets as mandated by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) Comprehensive Safety Analysis (CSA) through a partnership with Portland, OR-based Vigillo. ACS and Vigillo announced a new agreement today to bring the transportation industry the most comprehensive safety and compliance solution available to the trucking industry.

Vigillo currently provides over 1900 carriers with complex data and statistics through at-a-glance driver and carrier scorecards that present valuable safety information. The partnership with ACS and Vigillo will build upon the services that both organizations currently offer fleets. These services include hours of service information, overall safety scorecards, and intervention workflow for at-risk drivers who need extra training or development through e-learning applications, counseling or medical interventions.

“To meet the needs of our customers and the industry, ACS explored many partnership ideas. In the end, Vigillo offered the most comprehensive CSA information available in the industry,” said Kelley Walkup, division vice president and general manager for ACS. “By partnering with Vigillo, ACS is now positioned to bring an end to end compliance solution to the market that not only provides the required data and information for CSA, but also provides fleets an unprecedented solution to manage their safety and driver compliance in one system.”

The ACS vision for an integrated safety and compliance product that incorporates all of the critical elements of driver recruitment, log auditing, driver qualification files, and CSA intervention workflow, combined with Vigillo’s best of class CSA data analytics will set a new standard in the industry,” said Steven Bryan, Vigillo’s chief executive officer.

ACS and Vigillo announced the partnership today, and the comprehensive safety and compliance solution is scheduled to be ready for market this fall.
